Cláudia Monge opens workshop intended to review the first year of GDPR

Cláudia Monge, BAS’s Partner and Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDUL), will open the workshop focusing on taking stock of the first year of the GDPR.

The lawyer is especially focused on Health Law, in the different issues of this branch, and on Personal Data Protection, which is one of the law firm’s strategic areas of action.

Cláudia Monge will address the challenges that companies and organizations have faced and the current situation. Considering the full implementation of the Regulation on 25 May 2018 it is now possible to take stock of one year of the implementation of the amendments for the purposes of compliance with the new data protection regime.

Cláudia Monge holds a doctorate from FDUL in the area of ​​Legal and Political Sciences with the theme “The right to protection of health and the content of medical care” and a master’s degree in Legal and Political Sciences, by the same Faculty.
